Volunteer Opportunities

Support Advocate for Children's Advocacy Center: Volunteer makes a commitment to establish a supportive relationship with a child who has been a victim of sexual abuse and with that child's family.

Group Child Care Worker: The agency has group meetings for parents and there is a need for child care during these group meetings. The meetings are held during the day and the commitment is for 2-3 hours a week on a regular basis.

Special Events: The agency holds special events for clients that need volunteer help. We hold a back to school picnic for our Infant and Parent Services client families in August and other events during the year.

Fundraising: Community Healing Centers' major fundraising event: ROOF SIT is held every May with year- round planning. We need volunteers to help with the planning phase and to work the days of the ROOF SIT event (150 volunteer time slots)

Data Entry: Volunteers with this skill and interest are always appreciated!

Landscaping: We need volunteers who would be willing to do routine landscape maintenance, such as weeding and occasionally replacing plantings and general grounds clean-up.
