Serve For Kids

Make a Donation

Serve for Kids is an annual event that raises awareness and funds to treat and prevent all forms of child abuse, from child sexual abuse to negligence, in Southwest Michigan. Did you know that 13 cases of child abuse and neglect are reported EVERY DAY in Kalamazoo County alone?

Serve for Kids begins in the morning with a tennis clinic for our S.T.R.E.E.T. program participants.  Here they receive instruction and time on the court to learn about tennis. Each boy receives a “Swag Bag” with items generously donated by sponsors. Each pack contains new tennis shoes, hygiene products, school supplies, snacks, clothing, and more!

Join us in the afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club for tennis and pickleball (ages 18+), and stick around to enjoy our reception, dinner and program.  Tickets for dinner (generously donated by Q It Up Catering) may also be purchased separately.  All proceeds benefit the S.T.R.E.E.T. After School & Summer Program and the Bill Wright Children’s Advocacy Center at Community Healing Centers.
